Elementary-High School Scholarships (All Other Applicants)

Horizon Housing Foundation understands that sometimes the local school is not the best fit for a child’s educational needs. HHF is proud to offer elementary and high school scholarships to the family living at a Horizon property.
Description of the Scholarship
• Horizon Housing Foundation wants to make you aware of this opportunity to continue your education.
• The Horizon Housing Foundation scholarship is $3,000 annually.
• The amount awarded does not need to be paid back.

Criteria
• Applicants must be a tenant at a Horizon Housing Foundation property in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.
• Applicants must be a tenant in good standing with the property (rent paid on time, limited complaints, etc.)
• Applicants must be a tenant in good standing with the educational institution.
• The school must be in good standing with the state, and the student must meet any requirements of the school to qualify for the scholarship.

Cameron Biedscheid Scholarship

Horizon Housing Foundation is proud to offer the Cameron Biedscheid High School Scholarship to high school residents attending Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School in St. Louis.

The family must live in a Horizon Property, and meet any requirements of Cardinal Ritter Prep to qualify for the scholarship.

College Scholarships

• Enrolled in an accredited school or trade school.
• A minimum GPA of 2.0
• Strong character

Description of the Scholarship

• The Trade School/Certification scholarship will vary depending on the cost and length of the course.
• The amount awarded does not need to be paid back.

• Applicants must be a tenant at a Horizon Housing Foundation property in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.
• Applicants must be a tenant in good standing with the property (rent paid on time, limited complaints, etc.)
